Dr. Yasuhide Nakayama of the
National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center (NCVC) in Osaka, Japan is a research pioneer in “tissue engineering.” Specifically, Dr. Nakayama has been creating self-generative heart valves
using silicone molds. With the help of our
ProJet™ HD3000, Dr. Nakayama and NCVC have been able to dramatically expedite the development cycle of this cutting-edge research. According to Dr. Nakayama, “Before, I was only able to produce one prototype a year, but in just 2 months of using the ProJet™ HD3000, I was able to create 5 prototypes.”
