3D Systems “Flies” at AUVSI

3D Systems’ impressive suite of design-to-manufacturing solutions and services are currently on display until August 27 in Booth 2728 at the annual Unmanned Systems North America 2010 exhibition at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.

The event, organized by the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), is the world’s largest exhibition of unmanned systems – vehicles powered by batteries and operated with joy sticks.  Whether these objects are used for difficult-to-reach locations like disaster areas or for bridge/infrastructure maintenance, this industry continues to embrace additive manufacturing capabilities.  Today’s materials and technologies – especially Laser Sintering (SLS) – not only provide accuracy, speed and longevity, but also unlimited geometries from a design perspective that enable the weight and component reduction these demanding applications require.
